ANNOUNCEMENT

We really tried our best to give you all the information about the Vegro The Hague European Championships Disability Darts 2020 (VTHECDD) today, but we didn’t succeed. We will in a week or two, but still need to sign some contracts and get some quotations. The tournament(s) will absolutely go on, no worries!
We can however tell you a few things yet:
1. We will be playing on May 8 – May 10. The first two days in Hotel Van der Valk Den Haag – Nootdorp and the finals on Sunday in the Lourdeskerk in The Hague.
2. We have a good deal with the hotel, especially if you take in consideration, that almost all the hotels are fully booked due to the Invictus Games that are held at the same time and the Eurovision Song Contest that caused a booking tsunami. The rate is € 120 per room (two persons, including breakfast, excluding € 4,45 tourist tax) per night. VTHECDD pays € 25 per room per night, so the net rate charged will be € 95 per room per night. We have a booking system to ensure, that only approved players can book these discounted rooms.
3. There will be played three tournaments:
a. National teams consisting of two standing players, two wheelchair players and a coach – preliminary rounds on May 8 from semi finals on May 10 (televised and on stage)
b. Individual standing players – preliminary rounds on May 9, from semi finals on May 10 (televised and on stage)
c. Individual wheelchair players – preliminary rounds on May 9, from semi finals on May 10 (televised and on stage)
4. Within two weeks there will be a web site www.vthecdd.nl where we will give all the details, also how to enter the tournament, how to book the hotel and more.
We are very sorry for the delay, but it will be a fantastic tournament!
