This tournament will be played as follows:
The singles tournaments will be played on a knock-out basis. The games till the semi finals will be played for three won legs (best of five legs) 501. The semi finals will be played for four won legs (best of seven legs) 501 and the final will be played for five won legs (best of nine legs) 501.
The tournament for national teams will start with round robin, sixteen legs per match and continue on a knock-out base for nine won legs (best of seventeen legs) 501.
The Stichting Haagse Sportstimulering voor Gehandicapten made a good deal with the Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade.
The rate is € 110,00 per room (one or two persons, including breakfast, excluding tourist tax) per night. VTHECDD pays € 15,50 per room per night, so the net rate charged will be € 94,50 per room per night. We have a booking system to ensure, that only approved players can book these discounted rooms. The discount by VTHECDD will only be paid for:
• Individual players, arriving Friday, October 16 and leaving Sunday, October 18, a maximum of two nights.
• Team players will receive a separate offer for arriving on Thursday through their national coordinators
After applying – details on how to follow below – as an individual player (national teams are invited separately), we check if you qualify (Assessment Form as mentioned in General, item 7) for competing, we will send you an invoice for the entry fee. Upon receipt of payment, we will send you the registration form for the hotel, which contains a personalized and unique code. The hotel rooms need to be booked on or before May 17, 2020 and are subject to availability. Booking a room requires a valid credit card.
Those of you who already registered for the tournament and booked hotel rooms through us, don’t have to do anything. We will give all you details to the new hotel, all you known wishes will be granted for both hotel and dinner.
If you want extra rooms or stay more nights, you will have to put that on your hotel registration form.
The hotel rooms are available from 15:00 hours (local time) and check out has to be before 12:00 hours. Travel expenses will not be paid by the organization.
Details on the players meeting will follow closer to the tournament, but we can already tell you the following: At this meeting the players will be informed about the playing schedule, the rules and regulations as well as the payment of the prize money.
Players who are still in the tournament on Sunday are allowed to have three sponsor badges (max. size 4 x 12 cm.) on their shirt. Besides that, one sponsor badge from the organizers is also to be worn on the players shirts. The badges from the organizers have to be also visible during interviews and photo shoots.
Each player will get a wrist band, the colour will stand for what tournament they are playing and might grant different access and/or benefits. Player´s guests (partner or manager, but only one per player) will get a wrist band as well, if the player is still in the tournament on Sunday.
